Browse and Be Green
Posted on 13. Oct, 2009 by David Y in Apps
If your like me you spend hours online, researching, browsing, reading, working, watching a movie at some point during the day or night. So while browsing online I came across a nifty little plugin that allows you to turn all those hours or maybe even days for some into donations that support green initiatives and charitable foundations.
The best part of it all is it works in the way of a ad blocker. It removes those annoying generic ads we see while browsing and replaces them with health and wellness ideas as well as other green initiative ideas.
So your wondering why you should even bother with something like this… well check out the reasons below..
- It costs you nothing
- It doesn’t change how your browser performs
- It doesn’t compromise browser privacy( so your information will remain safe)
- It doesn’t even leave a footprint( I mean how great is that)
On top of all of the above it works on both PC and Mac and on Firefox, IE and Safari.
So head on over to DoGood Headquarters and join the movement.
